Vélez Sarsfield 2017 Umbro Home and Away Kits

Now in the second year of their current technical sponsorship with Umbro Argentina Club Atlético Vélez Sarsfield have revealed their 2017 home and away kits.

The new jerseys are in the traditional home white and away blue of the club nicknamed “El Fortín” (The Fort). The chevrons that have long been a fixture of Vélez’ shirts are once again present on the chests of their 2017 kits.

The Vélez Sarsfield 2017 jerseys use a bespoke v-necked design from Umbro. The sleeve cuffs feature a repeating pattern of Umbro diamonds inspired by the sleeve and shoulder taping of the sportswear firm’s kits worn by Vélez when they won the 1994 Copa Libertadores and Intercontinental Cup titles.
